Uponor PEX-A repipe manifold with copper trunk lines installed above a water heater by 5Star Plumbing Concord
Overview

Modern PEX & Copper Repipe Systems

A repipe replaces your home's aging supply lines — often galvanized steel, polybutylene, or brittle copper — with a home-run PEX-A manifold system routed from a central copper trunk, exactly like the installation shown here.

Because every fixture gets its own dedicated line back to the manifold, you get stronger, more even water pressure, fewer fittings hidden inside walls, and a system that's far easier to service in the future.

Most single-story homes are fully repiped in 2–3 days with minimal drywall disruption, and we patch every access point before we leave.

Fewer Leak Points

Home-run PEX lines mean far fewer fittings hidden inside your walls and floors.

Stronger Water Pressure

A manifold system delivers balanced pressure to every fixture simultaneously.

25-Year Material Warranty

Uponor PEX-A is rated for decades of service with a manufacturer-backed warranty.

2–3 Day Turnaround

Most single-story repipes are completed and pressure-tested within a few days.

FAQs

Repiping FAQs

How do I know if my house needs a repipe?
Warning signs include low or fluctuating water pressure, discolored water, frequent pinhole leaks, or visible galvanized/polybutylene pipe in your crawlspace or garage. A free inspection will confirm exactly what you have.
Will I be without water during the repipe?
We isolate work by section wherever possible and typically restore water service by the end of each work day.
Is PEX better than copper?
PEX-A resists corrosion and freeze-splitting better than copper and has no risk of pinhole leaks from acidic water. We use copper for exposed runs and PEX for concealed home-run distribution — the best of both.
Do you handle the permit and inspection?
Yes, we pull all required permits and coordinate directly with the Concord building inspector so you don't have to.
